1. Who we are

Borneo.biz is an independent business directory and travel guide for Borneo (Sabah, Sarawak, Kalimantan, Labuan, Brunei) plus Nusantara new capital coverage.

2. What data we collect

• No account required to browse. We do not sell your data.
• Lead form (optional): Name, email and business need you submit via homepage form. Used only to connect you to vetted contacts. Deleted on request.
• Directory listings: Business name, contact and WhatsApp you provide for listings. Public by design.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-first, no cookies) for aggregate traffic.
• Bookings: When you click “Book” you are redirected to our travel partners. Their privacy policies apply.

3. Cookies & local storage

We store preferences in your browser localStorage only. Our CDN may set a security cookie for protection. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

4. Partners & advertising

• Partner links: Some tour links are affiliate links — we may earn a commission when you book, at no extra cost to you.
• Advertising: We may show ads via Google. Google may use cookies for personalized ads — see Google Ads Policy.

5. Your rights

Request access, correction or deletion of your email via [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. Malaysian PDPA and GDPR apply.

6. Data retention

Lead emails kept 12 months or until you ask for deletion. Analytics is aggregated with no personal identifiers.

7. Children's privacy

Not directed to children under 13.
